We have done everything in our power to make your Libratone sound system as
simple and user friendly as possible.
Choose one of the setup options below to get started.
2. Music on the go - Libratone PlayDirect™
5. DLNA - Android / Windows Phone 8 / Windows support
AirPlay is a technology designed by Apple to transmit audio and video instantly from source to source within a Wi-Fi network. Once AirPlay is configured, you can stream from iTunes - both on Mac and PC - or you can use your iOS devices: iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. This means that you have your entire music library in the palm of your hand, ready to be set free.
Setup AirPlay with Libratone app
Libratone PlayDirect™ allows you to stream your music wirelessly in non-Wi-Fi areas from Mac/PC, your iOS devices: iPad, iPhone or iPod touch or even using DLNA. Libratone PlayDirect™ technology creates a direct network connection between your Zipp speaker and your music device making Libratone Zipp the ideal portable speaker anywhere you go.
Use any kind of playing device or music source as long as it has analog AUX audio out:
Setup is simple: You only need a playing device, a shielded minijack cable and your Zipp, of course. Connect the minijack cable between your playing device and the Zipp, and you're good to go.
Use your iDevice and the iDevice connector cable to send music to the Zipp. Setup is simple: Connect the iDevice-to-USB cable between your device and your Zipp and let the music play.
With DLNA enabled firmware on your speakers - you can stream music from your DLNA ready music app on your DLNA ready Android / WP8 / Windows computer to your Libratone speaker without using AirPlay.
Basically your Android / WP8 / Windows computer and your Libratone speaker only need to be connected to the same network. Use your home WiFi or use Libratone PlayDirect™.
For information on how to create or troubleshoot a specific DLNA setup on your Android/Windows device - please consult the user manual for your specific device.
